Best Ecommerce Marketing Tools To Boost Sales

Marketing is an ongoing pursuit for most businesses. If there’s no marketing, then there’s essentially no sales. But since it’s not an exact science, but more of a combination of choosing the right tools, strategies and tactics, here we provide some of the best options available to help you sell better and increase your sales.

When it comes to digital marketing, there are several aspects to take into consideration specifically with ecommerce businesses. To expand customer awareness of your brand, you may want to use a combination of marketing channels such as content marketing, email marketing, social media marketing, pay per click advertising, affiliate marketing, as well as be able to automate your marketing and track your campaigns for returns on investment. Once you figure out your strategy to market your business, it makes it easier to choose which channels you want to focus on, and then which tools you’ll need for your purposes.

Consider where your ideal customers get their information from, and how you’d like to place your brand in front of them. Once you start driving traffic to your ecommerce site, consider how you can then convert them into clients and customers. There is no one size fits all solution for businesses. As the ecommerce industry evolves your marketing campaigns and strategies will evolve as well.

  1. Previously I tried SEMRush and while that was good a friend recommended I try Ahrefs. Tried it, loved it and never went back. Ahrefs offers so MUCH information that it can be overwhelming at first but don’t give up. Take some time to see how it works and it will help your businesses immensely. Or, if you can afford it, get someone who knows how to use it. Use it’s wealth of information to make changes and grow your business.

  2. MonsterInsights is a must try. It simplifies things immensely. When I was using just Analytics it was hard to quickly see the information I was interested in. With this plugin it’s simple to see everything now. Even the free version is very good and I have used it for a few months with great success but I eventually got the paid version which has a lot of extra features I needed. To anyone using Google Analytics: install the free MonsterInsights plugin.

    1. I agree that MI is a very important plugin to have. I can’t believe the free version is so good and I wonder why there aren’t more people using it! Ever since I’ve started using it, I have made certain changes because of it, and my business has grown 5% in the last 3 weeks! MI helps me see things clearer and make changes faster. Google Analytics is great but it can make things a bit difficult to see so MI is a good choice to simplify things. Just my 2 cents.

      1. I think a lot of people could benefit from this tool (even the free version). They could reduce thousands of dollars they would otherwise pay to hire developers to set up enhanced eCommerce tracking. It’s much easier and cheaper to go with this plugin, try it for free and then pay a bit of money for its premium features.

        1. MI helps with a lot of things like Google AMP tracking which helps you track mobile visitors more accurately than Google Analytics does. It also has a lot of advanced tracking options that can offer tracking options for most types of online/ecommerce businesses. GA + MI = success!
